NOTICE FOR AUCTION OF MINOR MINERALS
LEASE OF DISTRICT DIR LOWER
The District Auction Committee of District Dir Lower invites applications from registered contractors of Minor Minerals for
participation in auction and grant of Minor Minerals lease of the following blocks in District Dir Lower under the provision of
section-78 sub section (3) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Mineral Act 2017 fora period of one year mining lease on the basis of
"As is where is" against reserve price and call deposit given against each block in the Office of Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower on
08/10/2024 at 11:00 AM. In case of non- auction due to any reason, next date of auction will be 10/10/2024 at 11:00 AM. Further
in case of non-auction on above mentioned dates due to any reason, next date will be decided by the District Auction
Committee.

1. Only those persons or firms registered with Dire orate General Mines & Minerals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Minor Minerals
Contractors can participate in auction. Interested a ies can register themselves in the Directorate General Mines & Minerals
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 2. The registered partie [individuals shall submit application form at the cost of Rs. 10000/-(Ten
thousand) non-refundable on any working day at deastthree (03) days before the auction. Last date for su bmission of application
form is 04/102024.3. persons or those persons who are not registered with Directorate General Mines
and Minerals are not allowed to participate in the auction. 4. The interested parties can visit and check the advertised areas
before auction. The sketches of the areas are available for the interested parties in the office of the undersigned. 5. Call deposit
shall be deposited under account Y). ßdo. 0066-2008140092 and application fee under account No. 0066-2008209319 in any
bra nch of Bank of Khyber. 6.The reglStered applicants/parties shall also submit attested copies ofCN IC, income tax registration
certificate (NTN) and partne ship deed/article & memorandum of association along with evidence of paid-up capital (if
applicant is partnership fir company). 7. The successful bidder shall deposit 1/4th of the total bid money as security within
three days from the date o auction, otherwise, call deposit shall be forfeited in favor of the Government and the bid of second
highest bidder shall b#onsidered as highest bid, subject to condition that the difference between the first and the second
highest bids is not more than 10 percent of the highest bid. 8. The successful bidder shall demarcate his leased area within fifteen
days from the issuance of Allotment Letter on his own expenses. 9. The successful bidder shall be bound to pay Excise duty to
Commissionerate of Mines or its approved excise duty collection contractor on government notified rates. 10. The successful
bidder before issuance of allotment letter shall be bound to deposit withholding tax under Rule-236-A of IT02011 with Income
Tax Department and Professional Tax as per rules to the Excise & Taxation Deptt; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 11. The successful bidder
will be bound to pay surface rent to the land owner under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Mineral Act 2017.12. The successful
bidder shall be responsible to work in leased area strictly in accordance with the provisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines &
Mineral Act 2017 and in accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mining of Minor Minerals from River Bed Rules, 2022.13. The
successful bidder shall be bound to use only verified challans for transportation of minor minerals duly verified by the concerned
Assistant Director. Transportation without a verified transit challan shall be considered as un-authorized transportation and
action under section-56 of the ibid Act shall be initiated against the lessee as well as other offenders. 14. The competent
authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid with cogent reason. 15. Other information in this regard can be obtained
from the office of undersigned during office time i.e., 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on anyworking day.
