PUBLIC AUCTION OF MORTGAGED PROPERTIES, LOCATED AT GULGASHAT COLONY MULTAN
In pursuance of Section 15 of the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinancet 2001, The Bank of
Punjab ("BOP"), having its Head Office at BOP Tower, Main Boulevard, Gulberg-lll, Lahore and a Branch Office
at Nusrat Road, City Centre, Multan Cantts Multan, offers the auction of the below mentioned mortgaged
properties.
WHEREAS, in terms of Rule 3 of the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Rules, 2018 (upheld up to the
Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan), the mortgaged properties are independently evaluated by BOP
through three (03) PBA approved professional Valuators (i.e. M/S K.G. Traders, M/S Medallion Services Pvt. Ltd.
& MIS Osam Consultant Engineers), for determining the reserve price/forced sale value. The highest valuation
(FSV) for each property has been adopted as the reserve price under rule 3 (b) (iii) ibid.
NOW THEREFORE, BOP invites all interested persons/parties to participate in the public auction of the
mortgaged properties (described below) scheduled as mentioned against the properties.

Interested parties, in order to participate in the ction, shall be required to submit a Bank Draft/Pay Order/Call
Deposit Receipt (CDR) in the sum of Rs-100,

copy of CNIC and cell number of the bidd$r.
Any bid below the reserve price shall@bt be entertained. The highest bidder shall be declared as the successful
bidder,
On acceptance of the bid by BOPOthe successful bidder of each property shall deposit minimum twenty-five
percent (25%) of the bid al!lgun within two (02) business days ofthe auction. The rest ofthe bid amount shall be
deposited within fifteen (T51days from the date ofthe initial deposit, In case Offa ilure ofthe bidder to deposit the
remaining amount withiJÜhe prescribed time line, BOP shall take the deposited amount as a reduction ofliability
ofthe borrower and reinitiate the auction proceedings for recovery of the remaining amount.
After receiving bid money, the bank will transfer the property in the name of successful bidder.
Successful bidderl>) shall pay all applicable taxes and expenses, costs, charges etc, in relation to the transfer ofthe
title. The advånéé income tax under section 236 A of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, @ 5% for filer & for
non-filer, is applicable.
Upon execution and registration of the sale deed of th e mortgaged properties in favor of the successful bidder, all
rights, title and interest in such mortgaged properties shall by law vest with the successful bidder/purchaser and
the mortgagor. BOP shall relinquish any right, title and/or interest in the mortgaged properties.
10. The properties shall be sold on 'as is where is basis( BOP will not assume any responsibility for the title of the
properties, any charge or encumbrance pertaining to the said properties, measurements or specification concerns
as well as any gas, electricity and/or property tax arrears etc. The particulars ofthe properties have been provided
as per the best possible available information.
11. Bank Draft/Pay Order/CDR of unsuccessful bidders will be returned on the same day.
12. Any or all bids may be rejected by BOP without assigning any reason thereof.
13. Other terms & conditions, if anyc will be announced before commencement of the open bidding.
