Communication & Works Department Gilgit Tender Notice for CONSTRUCTION OF 90 METER RCC BRIDGE OVER CHALT RIVER AND CONSTRUCTION OF 1.6 KM APPROACH ROAD AT BADULUS NAGAR-II 1. Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Communication & Works Deportment (C&WD) office of the Executive Engineer B&R Nagar invites sealed bids from eligible construction firms registered with Income Tax Department having valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in the Category C-3 for individual bidder or as stated in Bid document, in case of JV (with specialization in CE-01 & CE-02 for the year 2024-25). 2. The bids are invited from construction firms having experience of successful design and execution of project on EPC mode are eligible to apply and shall be responsible to undertake this project in EPC/Turnkey mode and shall also arrange financing for the project by their own resources/means. Construction/completion period of the projects is 540 days. 3. The bidding document will be issued to firms/JV on submission of Bid Security in shape of CDR from any scheduled bank amounting to Rs. 16078950/- in favor of Executive Engineer B&R Nagar which shall be duly verified from quarter concern. 4. The procurement method shall be “Single Stage—Two Envelopes Procedure. The construction firms will be required to submit two separate sealed envelopes containing Technical and Financial Proposals. Technical Proiosals must also include detail engineering design and feasibility study of the project. Complete details with respect to requirement of bid/proposal shall be available in the Request fof Proposals (RFP). (RFP) can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer B&R G&WD Nagar upon the request of eligible bidders. 5. Pre-Bid Meeting will be héld on 26th September, 2024 at 1200 boars in the Office of the Superintending Engineer Htinza-Nagar Circle C&WD HQ Gilgit. The bidder are advised to visit the site before atendingthe Pre-Bid Meeting. Moreover, the bidders in person or advised to depute only a shila orized representative to attend the proceedings. 6. The bids in sealed, énvelope prepared in accordance with the instructions contained in the Bidding Document must reach the office of the Superintending Engineer Hunza-Nagar Circle C&WD HQ Gilgit on or before 8th October 2024 until 1500 hours. Envelope containing “Technical Bid” will be opened on the same day at 1530 hours as specified in the Bidding Document. 7. This advertisement is also available on National Dailies and on PPRA websites. 8. The firms providing unsubstantiated and/or incorrect information are liable to legal action/ disqualification. 9.
