TENDER NOTICE
The tenders for the following schemes are invited from Engineering firms/contractors on the
item rate basis, as per PPRA E-Tenderjng System, inline with relevant PPRA Rules (amended
upto date). According to these Rules all the firms/contractors can participate in tendering
process with the following terms and conditions:-

The intending contractors/firms who have been registered with Pakistan Engineering
Council in the relevant category/codes may participate.
The contractors/firms have to be registered on Punjab PPRA website
(www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk). Any information/procedure regarding registration can be
seen/obtained from website ppra.punjab.gov.pk/e-procurement
All intending contractors/firms have to upload the earnest money in the form of CDR in
favour of Executive Engineer @ 2% of the estimated/bid cost and fill the rates against items
of work on the same website upto half hour before the opening date and time of opening
of tender. However, original CDR has to be submitted to the Tender Opening Committee
on the same day, half hour before the opening of bids; otherwise, the firm/contractor will be
disqualified in presence of Tender Opening Committee.
After filling the bids on website, the contractors will attend the Office of Superintending
Engineer Highway Circle Gujranwala on 21-09-2024 at i 2:30 P.M, where all bids will
be retrieved and quoted rates/successful bidder will be announced in presence of Tender
Opening Committee.
In case of submission of any fake information/document such as CDR/receipt, the
contractor/firm will be disqualified from the cu tendering procedure and will be
blacklisted to participate in any tendering process of C&W Department. Further, the
recommendation to PPRÄ and PEC will Iso be made against such firm/contractor for
appropriate action/blacklisting.
The Procu ring Agency may reject all
or proposals at any time prior to acceptance of a
bid or proposal under PPRA Rule •ejection of Bids).
Rigid pavement shall be laid by I g concrete batching plant and concrete paving machine.
TST/DST/Su rfacing shall be ecuted by mechanized system.
Recovery against credit d material will be adjusted manually and accordingly the bids
will be evaluated.
