The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing amounting to US$ 213 million
from the World Bank toward the cost of Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation
Project (IFRAP). It is intended that a portion of these funds will be allocated to cover
eligible expenses forthe hiring of Firm for Internal Audit (Consulting Service).
The Internal Audit Firm for IFRAP serves as an independent, objective assurance and
consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations.
Internal Audit firm helps an organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a
systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk
management, control, and governance processes etc. The detailed Terms of Reference
(TOR) for the Assignment can be downloaded from www.ifrap.org.pk or by request
through email.
The Government of Pakistan, represented by the Project Director FPMU - IFRAP, is now
inviting consulting firms that meet the eligibility criteria to express their interest in
providing the required services. Interested consulting / chartered accountants' firms
must provide information demonstrating their qåaiifications and relevant experience to
undertake this assignmenton basis offollowi g iteria:
