PRE-QUALIFICATION NOTICE (E-Procurement)
PROCUREMENT OF PORTABLE AUTOMOBILE EMISSION ANALYZER DEVICES
FOR ON-FIELD CHECKING OF SMOKE-EMITTING VEHICLES IN PUNJAB
Transport & Masstransit Department (T&MD), Government of the Punjab is highly sensitized on the issue of smog
and committed to reduce the share of emissions of Green House Gases from vehicles/ transport sector. In this
regard, Punjab Provincial Transport Authority (PTA) intends to procure Portable Automobile Emission Analyzer
Devices to equip field staff with essential gadgetries required for evidence based on-road vehicle emission checking
in order to take legal action against smoke emitting motor vehicles underthe Provincial Motor Vehicles Ordinance
1965 & Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules 1969 and other related laws/ policies.
PTA, T&MD, Government ofthe Punjab aims to pre-qualify experienced Firms or Consortium of Firms/JVs. For this
purpose, encrypted proposals from interested active t
pplicants registered on e-Punjab Acquisition and Disposal
System (e-PADS) and also registered with Income a & Sales Tax Department and Punjab Revenue Authority
(PRA) for Supply & Maintenance of Portable Emission Analyzer Devices under PPRA Rules-2014.
Pre-qualification document along with term? 'cbnditions and shortlisting / evaluation criteria are available on
websites of e-PADS (https://punjab.egrqcure.gov.pk), PPRA (https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and T&MD
(https://transport.punjab.gov.pk/) and canke downloaded free of cost or obtained from the office of undersigned.
The duly completed pre-qualification rzp osals in conformity with pre-qualification document must be submitted
electronically through e-PADS websiF In (https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) before (Wednesday) 11th September
2024 before 02:00 PM PST. There ived e-proposals shall be opened on the same date at 02:30 PM sharp.
Applicants are advised to ens t, ploading the e-proposals on e-PADS portal, well before the submission deadline,
and not wait for the last dat Znd time to upload the e-proposal. Submission of e-proposal on e-PADS Portal shall
entirely be the responsibili of the applicant, PTA shall not be held responsible for any issues thereof.
Note: The proposals submitted only through e-PADS shall be entertained / accepted.
