The tenders for the tollowvro schemes are Invited from Engineenng firms 1
contractors on the Item rates basis. as per PPRA E•Tcndenng System, Inline
PPRA Rules (amended updated) According to lhcso Rut09 all the relevant firms /
contractors can participate In tendenng process with following terms and
1 The intending Contractors/hrms who havo been regtstercd vath Pakistan
Engineering Council in the relevant category /codes valid tot FY 2024-25 can
participate In E.tendenng though Punjab PPRA website
2, The Interested Contractors/ Firms have to be registered on Punjab PPRA Website
(w*w punjab eprocure gov pk). Any information I procedure regarding registration
can be seen I obtained trom website (ppra punjabgov,pWe.procurement)
3 All Intending contractors / firms have to upload the earnest money in lhe shape of
CDR in favour of the Executive Engineer Highway Division Sialkot @2% Of the
estimated I bid cost and fill rates against items of work on the same website upto
half hour before the openrq date and bme of opening of tender. However. onginal
CDR has to be submitted to Tender Opening Commttee on the same day. half
hour before the ocmtng of bids otherwtse. the firm / contractor wall be disqualified I
presence of tender opentng committee.
4 After filling the bids on website, contractors may attend the office of Supenntcndlng
Engineer. Highways Circle, Guranwala on 12109/2024 at 02:30PM, where all bids
wqll be retneved and quoted rates Will be announced in tho presence of Tender
Opening Committee
5 In case of submsslon of any fake Information 'document such as CDR'recept. the
Contractor / Firm Will be disqualified from he tendortng procedure and Will be black
listed 10 participate in any tendenng process of Department, Further
recommendation 10 PPRA and PEC Will also be made agaanst such firm / contractor
for appropnate action I black Isong
6. Performance Guarantee will be received in shape Of Pay Order. Bank Draft / Cash
Of in shape of Bank Guarantee (valid 03.monlhs beyond the compleåon date)
Performance Guarantee Issued by Insurance Companies Will not be accepted
7. The ptocunng agency may reject all bids or proposal at any tme poor to
acceptance of a Bid or proposals under PPRA Rule.35 (Rejection of Bids).
8. As per clarification from Finance Departnenti No Price Variation is admissible on
M&R works & ctause.55 of standard contract agreement is not applicable
9 Recovery against credit of old Will be adjusted manually and accordingly
bids will be evaluated.
