TENDER NOTICE
The tenders for the following schemes are invited from Engineering firms / contractors on
the item rate basis as per PPRA E-Tendering System, inline with PPRA Rules (amended
upto date). According to these Rules all the relevant firms / contractors can participate in
the tendering process with the following terms and conditions:-

The intending contractors (firms who have been registered with Pakistan Engineering
Council in the relevant category / codes valid for FY 2024-25 can participate in
E-tendering though Punjab PPRA website.
The interested contractors / firms have to be registered on Punjab PPRA website
(www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) Any information / procedure regarding registration
can be seen I obtained from website (ppra.punjab.gov.pl[e-procurement) .
All intending contractors / firms have to upload the earnest money in shape of CDR
in favour of the Executive Engineer Highway Division Sialkot @2% of the estimated /
bid cost and fill rates against items of work on the same website upto half hour before
the opening date and time of opening of tender. However, original CDR has to be
submitted to Tender Opening Committee on the same day, half hour before the
opening of bids; otherwise, the firm / contractor will be disqualified in presence of
Tender Opening Committee.
After filling the bids on website, the contractors will attend the office of Superintending
Engineer, Highways Circle, Gujranwala on 12/09/2024 at 02:30PM, where all bids
will be retrieved and quoted rates will be announced in presence of Tender Opening
Committee.
In case of submission of any fake information / document such as CDR / receipt,
the contractor / firm will be disqualified from the tendering procedure and will be
blacklisted to participate in any tendering process of C&W Department. Further,
recommendation to PPRA and PEC will also be made against such firm / contractor
for appropriate action / blacklisting.
Performance Guarantee will be received in shape of Pay Order, Bank Draft /
Cash in shape of Bank Guarantee (valid 03 months beyond the completion date).
Performance Guarantee issued by Insurance Companies will not be accepted.
The Procuring Agency may reject all i sor proposals at any time prior to acceptance
of a bid or proposal under PPR We-35 (Rejection of Bids).
As per clarification from Fina
epartment, No Price Variation is admissible on
M&R works & clause-55 of Sta ard Contract Agreement is not applicable.
Recovery against credit ofOld material will be adjusted manually and accordingly the
bids will be evaluated.
