TENDER NOTICE
Tenders are invited by the Chief Engineer KPT, under PPRA Rule
36 (b) from Bidders I-e single stage two envelope. All interested
Firms who possess experience in the relevant field may obtain the
tender documents available on the downloaded version at KPT,
PPRA & Ministry of Maritime Affairs Websites.

REPAIR/RENOVATION OF VARIOUS
SHEDS AT M.I YARD WEST WHARF.
The work mainly comprises of:
• Repair of Gates.
• Water Proofing
• Coloring/Painting Works.
• Prepare Surface & Apply Thick Cement.
• Providing & Laying Hard Grade Ribbed
TOR Steel.
• Providing of General Steel Works.

1. The intending Bidders must registered with the Pakistan
Engineering Council in Category C-3 and above with
specialized code CE-OI, CE-IO & CE-II valid on the date of
opening of Tender.
2 The Bid should be sealed in two separate envelopes, marked
as "Technical Offer" & "Financial Offer". The Technical Bids
alongwith Signed & Stamped Tender Documents Will be
opened on same day in presence of bidder's representative.
The Financial Bids shall be kept in safe custody of the
Department and to be opened only for the Technically Qualified
firms. The Pay Order of Bid Security & Tender Fee are to be
submitted with Technical Proposal.
3. The Intending Bidders may visit MOMA Websites
and may Download the Tender Documents. The Prescribed
Tender Fees amounting to Rs.5,000/- (Non-refundable) and
the Bid Security of the work which is Rs. 5.0 (M) fixed
(Refundable) will be submitted separately envelope alongwith
the their Technical Bid at the time of submission of tender in
Shape of Pay Orders, in favor of Chief Account Officer, KPI

Affidavit, that the firm is not defaulter in Income Tax
Department nor blacklisted by any Organization and not
involved in litigation with other department.
In the "Mandatory Requirement' for the financial part, the
provision of Audited Financial Statement for last three
years is to be kept showing minimum turnover of Rs. Not
less than 800 (Million) on ave e and as per details
mentioned in Bidding Documen
The Bidder have to fulfill Eliaibilify Criteria as mentioned in
the Bidding Documents.

5 The Bid openm will take place in the Committee Room of the
Civil Work ngineering Department, at 2nd Floor, KPT Head
Office Bul ng, Karachi on given date & time.
6. The Bidder must read the instructions contained in Para 1-6
carefully especially the Para-3 in its true letter & Sprit
7. The KPT may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the
acceptance of a Bid or Proposal. The KPT shall upon request-
communicate to any supplier or contractor who submitted a Bid
or Proposal, the grounds for its rejection of all Bids or
Proposals, but is not required to justify those grounds.
8. Intended Bidders are requested to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting
02-08-2024 at 1130 Hrs. in Committee Room of Chief Engineer

alongwith the queries in written, the reply of same would be
posted at Websites of PPRA / KPT within 02 days of receipt of
the queries.
