Pre-qualification-Notice
Electrical department of Pakistan Railways is a major consumer of PVC Copper, Aluminum Cables
and Enameled wire. The cables are used for Power supply inside Trains. These cables are also
used in Railway service buildings and distribution networks.
Pakistan Railways intends to Pre-qualify the firms/Mahufacturers of PVC Cable Copper
Conductor/PVC Cable Aluminum and Enameled Wire." fhiS regard, Expressions of Interest are
invited for the Pre-qualification of firms/Manufa repof PVC Cable Copper Conductor/PVC
Cable Aluminum Conductor and Enameled wire
1. Applications for pre-qualification are invit
rom manufacturers registered with FBR for
Income Tax & Sales Tax and PRA, having!hqirnames on active Taxpayers list of FBR and PRA
and having experience of more than 10 years in manufacturing and supply of Power Cables
2. The pre-qualification document Yill@é issued to the interested manufacturers on payment of
non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,099/710GSh.
3. The advertisement and PQ document is also available on ourwebsite www.pakrail.gov.pk and
PPRA web site www.ppra.orglék for information only; however, the interested manufacturers
must purchase the prequalification document from the undersigned to ensure the
completeness ofth pre-qualification document and to obtain any addendum, if issued, by
Pakistan Railway
4. The interested Frm/manufacturers can submit the Pre-qualification applications complete in
all respect to the undersigned latest by 29th July, 2024 till 10.00 Hrs.
5. Pakistan Railways reserves the rightto annul the pre-qualification process as per PPRA rules 2004.
