National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) "the Employer", intends to get the Works done for Contract No. TLC-18-2024 through NTDC own resources. The Scope of Works is construction and completion of Civil Works, Erection, Stringing, Testing & Commissioning of 500kV D/C Quad Bundle Transmission Line from Sangal to 500kV Maira Switching Station (approx. 83.5km), using ACSR "Bunting 'j Conductor. The detail is as follows: Lot-I: 500kV Double Circuit Quad Bundle Transmission Line from Tower No. 01 Near Sangal to Tower No. 69 Near Sharif (23.5 km) Lot-II: 500kV Double Circuit Quad Bundle Transmission Line from Tower No. 69 Near Potha Sharif to Tower No. 135 Near Ratti Galli (23.5 km) Lot-ill: 500kV Double Circuit Quad Bundle Transmission Line from Tower No. 135 Near Ratti Galli to 500kV Maira Switching Station (36.5 km) 2. The Employer invites sealed bids from eligible firms or persons licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category for the above scope of Works. National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with PEC Single Stage-Two Envelope (SSTE) procedure. 3. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by an interested Bidder on submission of a written application to the above office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 5000 from Office of CE (MP&M). method of payment will be by bank draft from any scheduled bank in Pakistan in favor of CE (MP&M) NTDC, 8th Floor - Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore for TLC-18-2024. 5. i) iii) iv) v) vi) The bidder as a main contractor (as single entity or as JV partner*) must have substantially completed construction contract(s) comprising of detailed survey, sub-soil investigations, construction of tower conventional foundations, erection of towers, stringing, testing & commissioning of at least 50km of 220kV or higher voltage bundled transmission lines strung by controlled tension method during last ten (10) years. *If the Bidder has executed these contract(s) as a JV partner, he shall have out all the activities mentioned herein before. Such transmission lines must have been operating successfully for at least two (02) years prior to deadline for submission of bids. In case the bid is submitted by a joint vere under this bidding process, lead partner shall meet the above experience criteria. Alternatively, if notso, the bidder will identify th onfirmed source of the said machinery, T&P etc. along with documentary eviden talogues/drawings and shall provide necessary guarantee/surety that he Will arrange the said equipment in good working condition through its own resources prior to start of stringing activity. The aforementioned documentary evidence shall be submitted with the bid. 6. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount specified for respective Lot in the Bidding Data in the format of bank guarantee on bid security form provided or in the form of deposit at call or from a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan in favor of Employer. 7. The bids must be delivered to the above office on or before August 15, 2024 at 1 1 am. Bids will be opened at 11 :30 am on the same day, in the presence of Bidderis representatives who choose to attend at the same address. 8.
