The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the International DevelopmentAssociation
(IDA) (the "World Bank") toward the cost of Balochistan Human Capital Investment Project. The Project
Management Unit, Balochistan Human Capital Investment Project, School Education Department, GOB
an implementing agency of the Client, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this finance to eligible
payments underthe contract for which this Expression of Interest is issued.
Project Management Unit-Balochistan Human Capital Investment Project (Education Component) invites
potential firms to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to implement a model of Continuous
Professional Development through a blend of onli@eachers training modules for capacity development
of teachers with the on-job support in project schools. The Project Management Unit (PMU) of
the Balochistan Human Capital Investme térbject (BHCIP), funded by the World Bank, is seeking to
engage technical assistance (TA) for th foiementioned assignment to a firm having the capability to
implement this model which includes blishment ofa Control Unit in Provincial Institute for Teachers
Education (PITE), engage coache the teachers on job support and help teacher improve their
