REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTERESTS (EOIS)
Procurement of Consultancy Services to undertake Assessment Study, Preparation of Detailed
Designs, Procurement Assistance and Construction Supervision (Irrigation Infrastructure) for
Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP)

The Government of Islamic Republic of Pakista n represented by Government of Balochistan has received
financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project
(IFRAP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services for preparation of detailed
designs, procurement assistance and supervision ofworks (irrigation Infrastructures Sub Component).
I. The detailed Terms of Reference (TORs) for the assignment can be found by visiting our website
www.ifrappius.org.pk or can be obtained at the address given below.
2. The Project Implementation Unit, IFRAR now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to indicate
their interest in providing the Services as per the TORsv Consultants are encouraged to provide only
materials that would be specific to the proposed services, and to avoid submitting generic promotional
material. The shortlisting criteria are i) Corporate Capacity (Core business and years of experience in
same business for at least 10 years); ii) at least five (5) similar assignments undertaken in the last Ten
years indicating the nature and scope of these assignments in areas of design, supervision, procurement,
contract administration, quality assurance, environment and management planning; It may be noted that
specific experience of supervision (similar assignm@hts) is mandatory iii) the logistical capacity of the firm
and; iv) number of technically qualified staff.
