EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
PROVIDING AUTOMATED BORDER CONTROL E.GATE SYSTEMS
AT MAJOR AIRPORTS OF PAKISTAN
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authonty (PCAA) seeks applications from highly experienced
and professional, Automated Border Control solution providers for providing EGate
systems at CAA airports.
The project has been conceived as a self-service immigration system for installation
at airports to cut costs and improve on passenger satisfaction. The system shall be
placed at the arrival and departure gates of the airports, which validates the identity
of passengers using top-trending technologies. In the context of increasing numbers
of passengers and with the recent expansion of airports, it is intended to modernize
its border control solution in order to enable a seamless Immigration process of
travelers at Pakistani airpofls while improving security processing. This initiative
ams to alleviate the workload on manned immigratiqngounters and establish a
standardized automated immigration process thal ipctgdes document verification
and personal authentication for maintaining the seput!ty and integrity of the borders.
The scope of services includes providing, iosta!9üon, integration, testing and
commission of e-Cate systems followed by & maintenance.
