Building and Engineering Works Designed by the Employer, December 2023'
• Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), under the obligation of PECAct 1976, has been formulating and updating
the Standard Bidding Documents (PEC SBDS), Pakistan Standard Bidding Documents. Construction for Building
and Engineering Works Designed by the Employer, December 2023 based on FIDIC 'Conditions of Contract
Second Edition 2017, Reprinted 2022 with Amendments (Red Book)', is the first updated document notified by
PEC in March 2024 and made available on PEC Website for implementation by all concerned.
• In order to get relevant stakeholders/procuring agencies acquainted with the provisions of said document, PEC
is going to arrange a series of 'one-day seminars' across the country as per following schedule:
