United Nations Industrial Development Organization Islamabad Tender Notice for National Industrial Development Organization,Modernization, , ****** Result for Image/Page 1 ****** NIDO UNITED NATIONS INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION Funded by the European Union CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EON) - 2ND BATCH Business Development Grants for Entrepreneurs, SMEs & Cooperatives / Associations "POVERTY ALLEVIATION AND INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT ACROSS RURAL SINDH" (PAIDAR) PAIDAR is a five-year programme funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to support the Government of Sindh in implementin&its Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS). PAIDAR programme aims to support capable andeligiblebusinessownerswiththerequired resourcesto Ipthemgrowtheirbusinessesandcreatesustainableincomesforthepoorpopulation. Under this Call for EOIst UNIDO invites prospective and le investors in Pakistan to submit their innovative and viable business ideas as a first step towards accessing PAIDAR grants. The prop se&business ideas can either be for expansion / modernization / technology-upgradation of iness (start-up) facilities within five selected districts of Sindh (Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, existing business facilities or for setting up ne Tharparkar and Larkana). At a later stage, short-listed applicants will(Y9 nvited to submit their fully-fledged investment proposals for UNIDO grant funding, against a restricted Call for Proposals (Step Two). O or more (conditions apply) per grant award. UNIDO may cover up to 50% of the selected Funding Range: from EUR 11 ,000 project cost and up to 70% in case sinesses owned & operated by women as well as physically disabled persons. Who Can Apply: Private entrep rs, Small & Medium Enterprises and Cooperatives / Associations, duly registered with relevant Government authorities. Applications from nsortia (groups) orJointVenture companies are also welcomed. Applicants who had previously applied against Call for EOIs (fi rst batch # 7000006655) but were not shortlisted are eligible to apply with complete documents and attractive business ideas. Deadline for submitting the proposals is July 31st, 2024 (17:00 CET).
