The Government of Pakistan has received a credit from 'the
International Development Association (IDA) towards the
cost of Competitive and Livable City of Karachi (CLICK)
project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward
payments under the contracts for procurement of equipment
and allied services for establishment of SAP lab. For this
contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using
the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in
the World Bank's Disbursement Guidelines for Investment
Project Financing.
The Competitive and Livable City of Karachi (CLICK),

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive
Bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the World
Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers:
PROCUREMENT IN INVESTMENT PROJECT FINANCING
Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services
July 2016, Revised November 2020 ("Procurement
Regulations"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined
in the Procurement Regulations. In addition, please refer
O Newspaper ( 05 Jun, 2024)
to paragraphs 3.14 and 3.15 setting forth the World Bank's
policy on conflict of interest.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from Competitive ad Livable City of Karachi, Program
Director, CLICK, [email protected] and inspect the
bidding documents during office hours i.e. 0930 hours to
i 630 hours at the address given below.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be
purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written
application to the address given below and payment of a
non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000/- or equivalent amount in
USD in favor of EProgram Director CLICK". The method of
payment will be Demand Draft / Pay Order. The document
may also be collected in person. Bidding documents can be
seen at https://click.qos.pk/tender
Bids must be delivered to the address given below on
or before 12:00 noon on 28th June 2024 and must be
accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of the total bid value
or an equivalent amount must be in the form of Pay Order /
Bank Guarantee / Demand Draft in a freely convertible
currency.
Bids will be publicly opened in presence of bidders /
representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at
12.00 noon on 28th June 2024 at the address given below.
Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be
rejected. The bidders are requested to give their best and
final prices as no negotiation is expected.
